AgIM Objectives

The AgIM project aims to support the process of developing and implementing a program of Masters and Postgraduate course in Agricultural Information Management and Precision Farming at the University of Cape Verde (UniCV) and the Catholic University of Mozambique (UCM).

With an implementation period of 42 months (October 2013 to March 2017), the AgIM project will enable the provision of two editions of the Masters course in the two partner institutions, and the establishment of requirements for continuity and sustainability of the course beyond the period of implementation.

It is intended therefore to promote institutional, academic and technological capacity of the two partner institutions to offer quality education in the field of Agricultural Information Management and Precision Farming and in accordance with regional and national priorities for socio-economic development, give an adequate response to the needs of skilled labor in scientific and technological areas considered strategically important for the current policies in Cape Verde and Mozambique.
